Looking Through Trees
National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day
PCAF Art Gallery is honored to display the latest of Michael Kaniecki’s folded drawing efforts, “Looking Through Trees” during the months of August and September. Using India ink and wash on paper, Michael’s work covers 33’ in length and fills the gallery with his distinctive mark marking resembling an abstract landscape of trees. The folded work offers angles and shadows, perspectives unique to the viewer’s eye. In conjunction with September’s National HIV/AIDS & Aging Awareness Day, “Looking Through Trees” is reminiscent of old growth stands and the wisdom, maturation, and fortitude that comes from the extension of years. All are welcome.
