COME “ON BOARD”
We invite you to join us for the PCAF HIVe Campaign, an end-of-the-year fundraiser inspired by our new video, “Mother and Son”. The video features two PCAF clients, Jess and Kris, who share their stories of living with HIV since Kris’ birth. Filmed on location at their home and bee farm in rural Thurston County, it provides an intimate look into their family life and the important role of community.
In the film, Jess explains that for bees “in the wintertime when it gets cold, if they don’t stay clustered together then they freeze in animation. And if it gets too cold they’ll actually freeze to death and they won’t re-animate when it warms back up. So, I guess, kind of like humans, if we don’t work together then we all fall apart. So it’s really important for us to come together just like the bees and work as a group.”

WORK TOGETHER
As we close out the year, we’re calling on our closest supporters to come together for PCAF HIVe Campaign. The campaign is designed to be simple — but we need each and every one of you to join us because like Jess’ bees it’s the collective action that will make all the difference.
We are asking you to share a minimum of 3 campaign social media posts* between 12/21-12/31. When you sign on, we’ll send you a calendar and the posts for you to share. If you choose to create your own Facebook fundraising page, we’ll have a toolkit for setting one up. We will also provide additional content you can share with your network throughout the 10 days, feel free to share all or none of them.
