What We Do

PCAF is dedicated to assisting persons living with HIV to meet their needs for food, housing, healthcare and personal support. PCAF provides personalized case management services to people living with HIV and extensive outreach/education/prevention programming to help stop the spread of HIV and combat HIV related stigma.


The most cost-effective response to any health crisis is prevention. Preventing HIV transmission continues to be an underlying objective of all that we do. Our prevention staff offer multiple programs focused on reducing the spread of HIV in the South Sound community. These programs are comprised of several strategies and working groups focused on reaching communities most impacted by HIV; specifically gay and bisexual men, African American and Latino men, and the transgender community. Clients served at PCAF often have limited access to resources. The complexity of service needs and the increasing number of new clients continues to grow. Our gifted team of case managers partner with our clients to encourage self-sufficiency in a manner that is empowering for each client. Case managers provide practical information, referrals to resources, advocacy, and emotional support. Services are provided in both English and Spanish by a multicultural staff.
