In the past six months since my return to the Pacific Northwest, I have had the opportunity to hear what PCAF has meant to you, your friends, your family, and your Community. Your words have been felt. I have heard what we can do together.
Because as the Freedom Fighter Nelson Mandela said: It Always Seems Impossible Until It’s Done
PCAF has been here for the South Puget Sound. To do the impossible. If there was a need, we strived to answer it. If there was a healthcare emergency, we were the first to step forward. Our organization has survived and thrived at serving the unserved.
You know that the work is important and the need is urgent. PCAF, through education and service, prevents HIV infection, assists persons affected by HIV and AIDS, addresses related health problems, and combats associated stigma and discrimination.
Your support is key. And, I’m excited to invite you to be a part of our future. We must not only continue to address the AIDS Crisis of the past century, but also the HIV epidemic of today, the waves of STI crises, and most recently COVID-19 and now mpox. A bigger, stronger, and more community-centered response will allow PCAF to become the healthcare destination for all.
My drive is to ensure one thing: That we will not only live longer and healthier lives, but that the quality of our lives will improve. And we will do it together. With joy.

P.S. One thing about the South Puget Sound is that we find a way to support each other. We celebrate each other’s successes. We mourn each other’s losses. In step with Our Community, PCAF remains solution-focused. Our valued clientele needs it. Our valued clientele deserves it. Please give, as generously as you can.
