Lunch and Learn
Lunch and Learn is a monthly learning opportunity for clients in which a representative presents on a topic while clients enjoy a free lunch. Lunch and Learn was established to educate clients and their significant others on current issues, information, and resources related to living with HIV. Topics of presentation vary from month to month and are based on clients’ interest.
- Lunch & Learn is held on the 4th Tuesday of the month in Tacoma and Olympia.*

HIV+ Mens’ Discussion Group
The Men’s Discussion Group aims to educate, support, and empower Pierce County AIDS Foundation’s male identifying clients. Group members seek knowledge to educate one another to combat barriers and stigmas surrounding living with HIV. Members strive to holistically support one another both mentally and physically, and to empower one another through shared experiences and building trust. The group meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 1:30pm in Tacoma.

HIV+ Women’s Group
The Women’s Social Group meets monthly to support women affected by HIV / AIDS. A diverse group of women attend, bringing their stories, hopes, fears, and experiences with them. The group is facilitated by two case managers and includes topic discussions, craft projects, food, celebrations, and much more. All PCAF women clients are invited to attend.
Tacoma Support Group
The Tacoma group meets twice monthly to support people living with HIV. It is facilitated by Troy Huffman, LMFT. Group meetings are to learn, share, socialize, and support one another.
